HOW TO RENEW YOUR NBI CLEARANCE?
RENEWAL: FOR APPLICANTS RENEWING NBI CLEARANCES ISSUED FROM 2017 TO PRESENT (WITH NO CHANGES IN PERSONAL DETAILS SUCH AS NAME, PLACE AND DATE OF BIRTH)
Fingerprinting at the Consulate is not required. Applicants may send the requirements to their authorized representative for onward submission to the NBI Main Office in Ermita, Manila.

Original NBI Clearance (expired)

Valid passport – two (2) photocopies of data page (page showing photo and complete name) INCLUDING page with signature

ID photo – one (1) colored 2” x 2” photo with white background, taken within the last six (6) months, in proper attire. Blurred, scanned, or low-quality photos will not be accepted

Signed Authorization Letter (wet signature) from the applicant for the representative (As advised by the NBI Main Office, an authorization letter bearing the applicant’s original wet signature will suffice; a Special Power of Attorney is not required.)

Payment of 200 PHP or its equivalent in US dollars

Self‑addressed, self‑stamped envelope from any courier with tracking, which will be used by the NBI to send the NBI Clearance back to the applicant
NOTE:

Processing by NBI Manila takes a maximum of five (5 days) upon receipt of documents. After processing, the NBI sends the clearance certificate to the applicant in Australia.

Upon receipt of the clearance certificate, the applicant must examine it for the presence of embossed NBI dry-seal and then affix their right thumbmark on the space provided.

If there are changes to the details of the NBI Clearance such as civil status, name, date of birth, the NEW APPLICATION applies.

If the applicant’s address in Australia has changed and needs to be updated, a letter indicating the new residential address must be included in the requirements.
