NEW APPLICATION: FOR FIRST-TIME APPLICANTS AND THOSE WITH NBI CLEARANCES ISSUED BEFORE 2017

Requirements:

Personal appearance of the applicant
 

Passport – original and two (2) photocopies of data page (page showing photo and complete name) INCLUDING page with signature
 

ID photo – one (1) colored 2″ x 2″ photograph with white background showing applicant in proper/decent attire, taken not earlier than six (6) months before application. Blurred, scanned or low-quality photos are not accepted.
 

Payment of fees (to be paid by applicant at the Cashier, in cash or via debit/credit card, Australian dollars only)

• NBI card fingerprinting – AUD 45

• Expedite fee for same-day processing – AUD 18
   

The applicant will sign and fill out the NBI card form and affix his/her fingerprints in the presence of the Embassy’s consular officer (NBI card form to be provided by the Consulate).

Processing and Next Steps

Processing of the NBI Fingerprint Form No. 5 at the Consulate takes one (1) working day upon receipt of complete documents and payment.
 

If claiming the processed NBI card form in person at the Consulate, presentation of the official receipt issued by the Consulate is required.
 

Please note that the NBI card form is not the NBI Clearance itself. Once signed by the Consulate’s consular officer, the form must be sent to the applicant’s authorized representative in the Philippines, along with an Authorization Letter (bearing the applicant’s original wet signature). The representative will then submit the following requirements and process the clearance directly with the NBI Office in Ermita, Manila.

• NBI form No. 5 (Authenticated)

• Copy of valid passport

• Authorization Letter for the authorized representative in the Philippines (bearing the applicant’s original wet signature)
   

Cash payment of One Hundred Thirty Pesos (Php180.00), Philippine currency
