26 February 2020, ABS-CBN TFC in partnership with the Jewish Board of Deputies and with the support of the Philippine Consulate General and its Sentro Rizal Centre, held a special screening of the film Quezon’s Game at the Sydney Jewish Museum. 

The screening was attended by members of the Consular Corps, Jewish Community in New South Wales, Leaders of Filipino Community Organizations, Philippine Trade and Investment representative in Sydney, Filipino international students and members of media.   

Consul General Ezzedin Tago, Mr. Vic Alhadeff, CEO of the Jewish Board of Deputies, Emeritus Professor Konrad Kwiet of Sydney Jewish Museum were interviewed prior to the screening as to their expectations from the films. It was followed by a short program, with messages from Consul General Tago, Mr. Alhadeff and ABS-CBN Country Manager Mr. Jay Santos.  

The movie is a Star Cinema and ABS-CBN iWant Originals starred by actors Raymond Bagatsing and Rachel Alejandro and directed by Matthew Rosen. The two-hour film pays tribute to former President Manuel L. Quezon for his heroic rescue of the 1,200 Jewish refugees from the ghettos of Germany and Austria during the Holocaust. Then future U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower and several notable figures were also portrayed to have had an important role in the rescue.

After the screening a post-movie interview was held at the Military Hall. Philippine Community Council President Mr. Alric Bulseco, Australia Philippine Business Council President Mr. Ed Alcordo, Writer Dr. Deborah Wall and Mr. David Joshua Delos Reyes of Filipino International Student Council of New South Wales were part of the interviewees who shared their views on the film. 

All interviewees gave positive comments about the film. It had a touching impact on the guests. The film highlighted the important contribution of the Filipino people in taking part of saving the lives of thousands of Jewish people when no one was willing to open doors for them.
